1970’s Barnaby Rudge
Ian Francis History 1970’s – Barnaby Rudge
Ian Francis was a member of a band called Barnaby Rudge who played around Sydney in the 1970’s. An upbeat band that played in pubs and clubs, Barnaby Rudge was there to entertain and they always had a big audience wherever they played.
Barnaby Rudge mostly played covers of popular songs in local wine bars, pubs and clubs around Sydney. As entertainment was the focus for their audience, who were out to have a good night drinking, socializing and dancing, the audience wanted to hear upbeat songs that they knew and loved.
